Transport Services --> HIAB & Crane-assisted deliveries

HIAB and crane-assisted deliveries, dispatched and documented properly.

Every HIAB job is a specialist job. The vehicle has to be right, the operator has to be available, the site has to be ready and the job has to be documented from start to finish. FleetX gives HIAB and crane-assisted operators a single platform to plan jobs, dispatch the right vehicle, capture HSE reporting in the field and bill accurately against time spent on site.

Specialist Vehicle Dispatch

Match the right vehicle to the right job, every time.

HIAB and crane-assisted jobs can't be assigned to just any available truck. FleetX gives you an equipment calendar with real-time availability across your specialist fleet, so you can see which vehicles are free, which are already assigned and which are tied up on multi-day jobs. Assigning a vehicle is just a drag and drop in the dispatch board, and you can plan days or weeks ahead without the risk of double-booking.

If a job changes or a vehicle becomes unavailable, reassigning is just as quick and the driver gets a push notification immediately so nothing falls through the gap between office and cab.

Time-Based Job Management

Bill for the time on site, not just the trip.

HIAB work is rarely a straight delivery. Operators spend time manoeuvring, rigging and waiting on site and that time needs to be captured and billed correctly. FleetX supports time-based service orders alongside standard transport orders, so the job record reflects what actually happened rather than just the distance driven.

Orders can be linked to specific projects with their own pricing rules, which makes billing straightforward when you're running multiple lifts across the same site or the same client over a period of time.

HSE Reporting in the Field

Safety documentation that follows the job, not the paperwork trail.

Crane-assisted lifts come with real safety obligations and FleetX puts the reporting tools directly in the operator's hands. Drivers and operators can log HSE reports, record incidents and submit required job documentation from the driver app, with everything linked directly to the order record.

Reports are configurable to match what your operation requires, whether that's a pre-lift checklist, a deviation report or a record of who was responsible for the lift. Everything is captured on site while the job is still fresh, not reconstructed later from memory.

ADR and Cargo Documentation

Carrying regulated loads? The paperwork is part of the job.

When HIAB jobs involve hazardous goods, FleetX supports ADR codes on cargo types so the correct classification travels with the order. Cargo is fully configurable with weight, volume and dimensions, and bill of lading documentation is generated automatically and attached to the order.

For operators handling a mix of standard and regulated loads across a fleet, having cargo documentation connected to dispatch rather than managed separately removes a significant source of risk and manual work.

Automated Invoicing

Time on site captured. Invoice out the same day.

HIAB billing is detailed by nature. Jobs are priced by time, by lift, by distance or by a combination of all three, and getting it right manually takes longer than it should. FleetX applies your pricing rules automatically to each completed job, whether that's an hourly rate, a distance-based charge, a vehicle type uplift or a project-specific rate, and generates the invoice as soon as the job is marked complete.

Send by email or EHF, group by project or customer, and export directly to your accounting system. Detailed job information and documentation can be included with the invoice so customers see exactly what they're paying for.
