TMS Features
A TMS is software built specifically for planning, executing, and monitoring transport operations. It brings together order management, route planning, driver communication, and billing in one place. Unlike general logistics software, a TMS is focused on the operational side of transport: order flow, vehicle and driver management, route optimisation, and documentation. FleetX combines all of these in one cloud platform.
FleetX handles A-to-B transport, shared loads, line and split orders, time-based service jobs, multi-pickup and delivery runs, and recurring orders set up on automatic schedules. Orders can arrive via your customer web portal, EDI, API, or manual entry.
The FleetX dispatch board gives you a live overview of every active order, driver, and vehicle. You can build optimised multi-stop routes in seconds, assign jobs by drag-and-drop, and monitor live ETAs for every stop. The system supports both manual route building and automatic route optimisation, factoring in deadlines, vehicle capacity, and road restrictions.
Yes. The driver app sends GPS location data in real time, so your dispatch team can see every driver’s live position on the map at any time.
The driver app handles the full job cycle: receiving assignments, turn-by-turn navigation, automatic arrival detection, digital proof of delivery (signature and photo), cargo scanning, incident and deviation reporting, GPS tracking, in-app messaging with dispatch, time registration, and leave requests.
Yes. FleetX includes a branded customer web portal, customised with your company logo, where clients can place orders, track shipments in real time, download proof of delivery, view invoices, and access environmental reports, 24 hours a day, on any device.
Yes. FleetX PartnerLink supports pre-built EDI message types and two-way API connectivity, allowing you to exchange orders and status updates automatically with logistics partners, freight brokers, and other carriers regardless of which TMS they use. Connections include status updates and proof of delivery in both directions.
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is a standard for automatic data exchange between business systems. With EDI, orders, status updates, proof of delivery documents, and invoice data all flow between FleetX and your customers’ or partners’ systems without manual input, reducing errors and speeding up every step of the process.
By bringing orders, transport data, and billing together in one system, FleetX gives you a clearer picture of revenue, costs, and margins. Automatic pricing means every completed job is priced correctly, and invoice data transfers directly to your accounting system without manual re-entry.
A TMS reduces costs by optimising routes, cutting empty runs, and automating administrative tasks like order processing and billing. With real-time visibility of jobs and resources, transport managers can make faster decisions, improve capacity utilisation, and reduce both errors and overtime.
Billing, Integrations & Getting Started
Yes. FleetX includes a full invoicing module. Once an order is completed and priced, it is automatically transferred to billing. Invoices are sent by email or EHF (electronic invoicing). You can group invoices by customer, project, or period, and set individual credit terms per customer or customer group. Once invoices are generated, all data exports automatically to your accounting system.
No. FleetX handles invoice and credit note generation. Payment tracking, reminders, and collections are managed in your accounting system, which receives the invoice data directly from FleetX.
FleetX integrates with Tripletex, PowerOffice Go, and other accounting and payroll systems. If you need a specific integration, contact us to confirm availability.
Yes. FleetX PartnerLink supports EDI and a well-documented REST API for custom integrations, whether you’re connecting to a bespoke ERP, a partner’s ordering system, or an internal tool. Our integration team is available to support your setup.
Yes. Tachograph data can be synchronised with FleetX Time & Absence Management, automatically matching driving and rest time data to registered working hours and generating violation reports where rules are breached.
