TMS for aggregate hauling

Aggregate hauling is about loads that have to be weighed. Soil, gravel, crushed rock and sand are picked up at a site or a quarry, weighed and tipped at the receiving site, and every load has to be documented and invoiced correctly. FleetX is a cloud-based TMS that links orders, the weighbridge, the driver app and invoicing in one workflow, so no load goes missing between weigh tickets and spreadsheets.

Orders per load and per project

Every load is an order. Every project has its own rules.

Material is picked up at a site or a quarry and driven to a tip or a receiving site, often many loads a day for the same customer. In FleetX every load is registered with material type, pickup point and tipping point, either as its own order or as lines on a project order, so you always know what has been hauled, where, and for whom.

Orders are linked to projects with their own pricing rules, and regular runs can be set up as recurring jobs. Customers can book pickup and delivery of material directly in the customer portal, and the order goes straight into planning.

Weighing built into the workflow

The weight goes straight onto the order, not onto a slip in the cab.

With FleetX Weighbridge the weight is fetched from the weighbridge automatically and recorded on the load, with gross, tare and net. No manual keying, no weigh tickets to decipher at month end, and the weight is ready as the invoicing basis the moment the load is tipped.

If the load is weighed on a scale that is not connected, the driver enters the weight and photographs the weigh ticket in the driver app, so the documentation follows the load either way.

The driver app on site and at the tip

The driver sees today's loads and records everything from the cab.

In the FleetX app the driver sees today's loads with pickup point, tipping point and material type. Each load is confirmed with weight, photo and receipt from the receiving site, and the position is sent to dispatch in real time, so the office sees where every truck is and how many loads have been hauled.

Deviations such as a closed receiving site, the wrong material or waiting time are reported straight from the field with a photo, linked to the load in question.

Overview of material and receiving sites

Tonnes and loads per project, customer and receiving site.

FleetX gives you reports on tonnes and number of loads per project, customer, material type, vehicle and receiving site, so you can see what has left a site and what has been delivered to each receiving site. The documentation is ready when the client or the receiving site asks.

Customers follow their own projects in the customer portal and download weigh tickets and invoices themselves.

Invoicing per tonne, load or hour

Invoice exactly what was weighed and hauled.

Pricing rules are set per material type and per customer or project, with a price per tonne, per load or per hour. Once the load is weighed and tipped, the invoicing basis is ready, and invoices are grouped per project or per period the way the customer expects. No manual reconciliation of weigh tickets at month end.

Send invoices by email or as EHF / Peppol e-invoices, export straight to your accounting system, and give customers access to their own invoices through the customer portal.
