iTide chooses FleetX as its new TMS solution

We are proud and delighted to welcome iTide AS as a new FleetX customer. Based at Borgeskogen in Stokke, with a branch at Alnabru in Oslo, iTide has since 2008 built itself up as one of the most forward-leaning carriers in eastern Norway - with customers such as GE Vingmed Ultrasound, Optimera, Epta Refrigeration, Harmonie Norge and Alles Miljø.

Now they are taking the next step in their digitalisation, bringing order handling, dispatch, driver app, invoicing and time tracking together in one cloud-based platform.

Why iTide chose FleetX

iTide is known for being almost paperless, and for solving both complex and simple transport needs for its customers. Time tracking connected to Tracksys

In addition to the TMS itself, iTide is also adopting FleetX time tracking - with direct integration to tachograph data from Tracksys.

For a transport company this is a major simplification. The tachograph records driving time, breaks and activity automatically, and Tracksys downloads the data daily. When this flows straight into FleetX, a few important things happen:

• Driving and rest time is calculated automatically - no manual punching, no room for interpretation.
• Timesheets fill themselves in for the drivers, based on real data from the vehicle.
• Deviations are caught early, so both driver and manager can deal with them before they become a problem.
• The payroll basis is right first time, because the figures come from a single source of truth instead of several systems.

For iTide, that means no more juggling between the tachograph system, timesheets and payroll - and time freed up for drivers, planners and administration alike.
