Ringcont brings container rental and transport together in FleetX

Ringcont - operated by Containerservice Ringerike AS - offers container rental in Ringerike, Hole and Jevnaker in Norway. The company is now adopting FleetX both as its TMS and as its rental platform, so that containers, orders, collection, emptying and invoicing all run in one and the same system.

An operation where rental and transport belong together

Ringcont supplies everything from waste bags of 910-2,200 litres to large open hook-lift containers of up to 30 m³ - with transport and emptying included in the price. For a local operator serving private customers, housing associations and business clients alike, rental and transport are tightly intertwined: every container has to be delivered, collected, emptied at the right recycling station and linked to the right invoice.

• Waste fraction reporting on emptying - fractions delivered to the recycling station are recorded directly in the app, and can be linked to weight sensors where the vehicles support it.
• Combined invoicing - rental and transport are billed on one and the same invoice per customer, in advance or in arrears, grouped by project or address, with EHF support (the Norwegian e-invoicing standard) and direct export to the accounting system.

Self-service for customers

One of the main reasons rental operators choose FleetX is the customer web portal. Through their own branded portal, Ringcont's customers can place new container orders, see which containers they currently have on site, book collection or emptying, and download both invoices and environmental reports - without having to call the office.
